Students may drop off their school supplies in their lockers.
Open House is Monday, August 18th 6:00p – 7:30p
Meet your student’s teachers and drop off school supplies in their lockers.
Cash or checks made out to NMS will be accepted.
NURSE NOTES
Please note some important information regarding physicals and sports.
Sports physicals must be turned in before the first day of tryouts, and are required yearly.
The Certificate of Child Health (yearly exam form), has a box for “interscholastics sports” that can be marked “yes” in lieu of a sports physical.
Both the sports physical form and Certificate of Child Health have health history areas that are required to be filled out and signed by the parent/guardian to be valid.
August - Physicals and immunizations due for all 6th grade students, and new students. Volleyball (open to 7th and 8th grade) and Cross Country (open to all grades).
September - Cheerleading (open to 7th and 8th grade) and Boys Basketball (open to 7th and 8th grade)
October 15 - 6th grade students / New students missing required health documents will be excluded from school.
December - Girls Basketball (open to 7th and 8th grade) and Wrestling (open to all grades)
March - Track (open to all grades).
Sign up sheets for each sport are posted ahead of time, and emails are sent to parents notifying them if a sports physical is due.
Please email your school nurse if you have any questions, or to confirm your student’s physical forms.
