Reminder - Friday, September 1, is an Early Dismissal Day. Students will be released at 11:45 AM and there are no AM or PM ECE classes.
Here is your opportunity to learn about the curriculum that will be taught to your child for the 2023-2024 school year. Below is the schedule for the night.
August 24, 2023 - SGE 1st - 5th Grade Curriculum Night @ 6:30 – 8:00 PM
There will be three sessions during the night to allow those parents with multiple children in the school to visit their child’s classroom. Please note that 3rd grade will do one presentation in the computer lab from 6:30 – 6:50 PM. The classroom teachers will be providing the same information at each session. The night is intended for the parents to learn more about the curriculum being taught.
Session 1 – 6:30 – 6:50 PM (3rd Grade Parents Meet in Computer Lab)
Session 2 – 7:00 – 7:20 PM
Session 3 – 7:30 – 7:50 PM
Classrooms have air conditioning!

Mrs. Hartnett's students started out the year in 3rd grade music class with a musical movement activity.
The first day of school is off to a great start!
We look forward to seeing everyone for the first day of school tomorrow. Please take the time to review our morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures. We also ask that you use the crosswalk in the parking lot instead of walking through the parking lot. Bus routes may take longer this week as the drivers and students become familiar with the routes.

SGE is looking for two paraprofessionals for the 23-24 school year!
Work on the playground began on Friday! The SGE PTO is having drainage installed, new wood chips, and a new border around the existing playground. A new path from the blacktop to the playground is also being installed.
