Students get a special Halloween lesson this week in art class where they get to use neon oil pastels to create their art under the glow of black lights! Here is Mrs. Christensen’s fourth graders working hard on their follow art!

The 5th grade classes became architects this week as they worked with Tinkercad software to design their dimensional homes during computer lab time!

Students in Mrs. Komos’ first grade class used a variety of painting, text, and sticker tools to create a fall pumpkin scene using Pixie software during computer lab time!
There will be no 5th grade band today (October 5).

You may already have heard the news that FEMA and FCC will be conducting a Nationwide Emergency Alert Test on Wednesday. This test is conducted at the Federal level, but we would like our community to be informed.
Date and Time: Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 1:20 pm CDT
"In case the Oct. 4 test is postponed due to widespread severe weather or other significant events, the back-up testing date is Oct. 11."
What to expect:
This test will be transmitted to cell phones and likely sound similar to an Amber Alert or National Weather Service Severe Weather Alert.
