2nd grade had another fabulous mystery reader this week! Mrs. Richards shared the story The Very Impatient Caterpillar by Ross Burach. All the 2nd grade classes are looking forward to reading the next book by the same author called Make Way for Butterfly.
For Workout Wednesday this week, Mrs. Eisch's 5th-grade class planned an activity for their kindergarten buddies in Mrs. Peterson's class! The 5th graders helped their buddies practice different exercises before playing a game of "Exercise Simon Says." They all had a blast!
1.2.3.4. We Declare a Coin War! The Student Council is bringing Coin Wars to RGS next week to raise money for the Stardust Animal Sanctuary. Add pennies and bills to add to your total. Sabotage other classes by adding silver coins to their containers. The class that has the most points by the end of the week will either earn an extra recess or a popsicle party. Sept 25-29th.

RGS replaced some older pieces of equipment and installed a couple of new climbers this weekend. Thank you to all our volunteers, including the Richmond Burton Varsity Football players and the PTO for organizing our volunteers. The students LOVE the added pieces.
